- Equality and Human Rights Commission, which took over from the Disability Rights Commission in October 2007. The EHRC is also on YouTube and Facebook.

- Equality Commission for Northern Ireland - dealing with discrimination in Northern Ireland.
- Employment Appeal Tribunal - website includes full text judgments.
- Scottish Parliament Equal Opportunities Committee - including the November 2006 report of its disability inquiry to which the British Stammering Association Scotland contributed.

- British Stammering Association - Employment page, including its booklets for people who stammer and employers, articles by people who stammer doing various jobs, visit to the Scottish Parliament to give evidence to Equal Opportunities Inquiry (2005), and other employment-related materials on the site. - Equalities Mediation Service - free service for parties referred by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Provides mediation in employment, services and education disputes.
- The two ticks scheme - employers who use the disability symbol make various commitments as regards disabled people. There is more information for employers about this on the Jobcentre Plus website.
- Employers Forum on Disability (and Northern Ireland has Employers for Disability NI)
- On the issue of stammering being seen as a disability, and the social model:
- Stuttering as a disability - the controversy (Word doc), by Mark Irwin - the International Stuttering Association debated the issue and confirmed that it recognises stuttering as a disability

- Public authorities to have greater duties in future includes a review of advantages and disadvantages of stammering being seen as a disability.

- Discrimination Law Association - for practitioners and others
- Institute of Equality and Diversity Practitioners - professional body of equality, diversity and human rights practitioners. Launched in January 2009.
- Disability Rights Watch UK - aims to monitor the UK's performance in implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by collecting evidence about the experiences of disabled people in the UK. You can submit your own story...
- The Disability Archive UK - valuable archive of articles hosted by the Centre for Disability Studies, University of Leeds.

- European Disability Forum - exists to represent disabled people in dialogue with the European Union and other European authorities. (3rd December each year is the European Day of Disabled People.)
- European League of Stuttering Associations (ELSA) - Discrimination links.
- Disability Intergroup of the European Parliament
- European Network of Legal Experts in the Discrimination Field - information on legal developments in the non-discrimination field both at Member State and at European level.
- Disability and non-discrimination law in the European Union (2009) - an analysis of disability discrimination law in the EU within and beyond the employment field, including comparison of the law in different EU countries.
- Anti-discrimination and relations with civil society - on the European Union web site
- Equality of Opportunity for People with Disabilities - also on the EU web site, bringing together various EU policies that impact on disabled people and other information about the Commission´s Disability Strategy.

- Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (Wikipedia) - equality law, including disability, which came into effect in August 2006. Known as the AGG.
- Antidiskriminierungsstelle des Bundes - Federal Anti-Discrimination Centre. Their website includes information on the AGG and on services offered by the Centre. (In English, it includes Guide to the General Equal Treatment Act (pdf), including English translation of the AGG.
